Marion and Dave welcome you to the Smithy Tearoom and Gift Shop.
For those who haven’t found us yet , the Smithy is a family run traditional tearoom. We are lucky enough to be situated in a lovely garden setting with a charming riverside location.
We aim to provide all you would look for in a tearoom and more. Our gift shop also has a good selection of gift ideas many from local crafts people.
The Smithy specialises in home cooked food using fresh local produce. Our home baking includes a variety of home made cakes, tray bakes, fruit and cheese scones and homemade soups with a difference.
For people who would like a light lunch, there are a selection of light snacks ranging from sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes, and Panini’s all with a variety of fillings, but if you would like something more substantial, we have full salads made with our own home cooked ham and locally produced smoked salmon and an ever changing Special Menu board.
